"What is MTA's justification for running 9 R train while only 7 N and W trains are run each hour?"

I don't understand the nature of the complaint here. That's 14 Astoria trains vs. 9 Queens Boulevard trains an hour going through the 60th Street Tunnel. Is that not enough Queens Boulevard trains?

Here are the V trains scheduled to leave Queens Plaza (and going through the 53rd Street Tunnel) between 8 and 9 AM:

hold to 8:07, 8:11, hold to 8:19, 8:23, hold to 8:31, 8:35, hold to 8:43, 8:47, 8:55=9 trains (same as the R)

There aren't enough cars available to run more service, even where it M-I-G-H-T be justified (and I don't have recent figures to show where it might be justified).
