The QB lines go thru a much more dense area then the N does, second the QB lines draw passenegers from a mile north or south. If you live more then 8-9 blocks from the N in Brooklyn you are an F or W rider (OK I am talking right angles). At 86st you are like 4 blocks from the F and 4 from the W.
