It depends on which stop you are getting off. And if you live in Brooklyn on the West end line, your arguement is pretty useless. Besides, another Manhattan option like the V train exist.

Who's talking about more cars? I'm talking about giving the N 2 extra trainsets which will leave the R with 7 tph..
Remember, the N has a whole bunch of stops by itself, unlike the R, so, putting more train per hour on the N line is a logical decision on my part.
