Eventhough the R40 Slants had the blue doors, they were not graffiti free. They didn't become graffiti free until when the non-air conditioned R40s were GOH'd. During that time, the air-conditioned R40 Slants then were repainted with silver/gray doors inside and out and graffiti free until they were GOH'd.
