Far Rockaway A Train has been right about a lot of things . However with this I think he is wrong . I also remember riding cleaned up and blue doored slant R40s around 1986 or 1987 . It was after they were cleaned-up and kept that way , but before the overhaul . Both interior and exterior doors were dark blue .
I am almost positive about this .
