Hm... Yellow/Green apparently had the same deal going. When U Street-Cardozo opened, the YELLOW line covered the runs, going from U Street-Cardozo to Huntington. Until Anacostia opened, there really wasn't a Green Line at all.

And... I though the rollsigns were phased out by the time the Orange Line opened. Green was the only line to debut without rollsigns to worry about? I thought Yellow, Green, and Orange alike were opened too late for rollsigns, or at leats in the Orange Line's case, the signs were mix, and rollsigns were on their way out.

Oh, forgot to ask... where exactly do they reverse direction at Rosslyn? Early Stadium-Armory, I can understand, but Rosslyn? The nearest crossover is either Arlington Cemetery or Foggy Bottom-GWU. Which do they use, and what if it's an ORANGE Line terminating at Rosslyn?
