Only 2 R38s got the blue door treatment (side doors). They were 3992 and 3993. About half the fleet had their end door painted blue. The other half were still grey/silver. The interiors were not touched (orange doors, cream walls) until rebuilding.

I also remember that the TA painted at least two of the R32s' interior back to the original two tone aqua blue. Boy was that a treat.
