Interesting. Smart move by WMATA to do that.

The Airport-Armory runs were terminated on the pocket track northeast of Stad-Arm, right?

I still wonder about WFC... why'd it get a dual island, three track design if it wasn't intended as a terminal station (or was it, and WMATA just figured between all the New Carrollton-Vienna Orange trips and Addison Road/Fran-Spring trips they'd not need to run short Orange trips)?
