The Airport-Armory runs were terminated on the pocket track northeast of Stad-Arm, right?

The pocket track in D and G Junction (D98) was not used when the first segment of the Blue Line opened in 1977. Relaying was done at Eastern Market (D06). This was done because the construction contract for the elevated and tunnels east of Stadium-Armory (D08) were started well after construction was started on the segments west of the Stadium-Armory (D08). Mark (Mountain Maryland) recalls that D and G Junction (D98) was brought on line well before the rest of the D Route to New Carrollton (D13) opened 11 20 1978.
