And what's wrong with that? After all the Canarsie Line WAS supposed to go much further south into Brooklyn, although I don't know whether it would've ended up in Coney Island per se, but it is a shame that it was never extended...I mean, exactly how many trains per day even USE the Bay Ridge Line? One? Phooey. That could be done by truck.
