LOCAL on Mon Oct 27 11:16:20 2003, in response to Re: Ultimate Guide to Pelham 1-2-3, Speaking of Hollywood's "authenticity" in making subway movies, how about in the 1975 Striesand comedy, "For Pete's Sake," where Babs boards a train of pre-war IND Rs at Court St.....and the the roller signs are set for "LL EIGHTH AVE. CONEY ISLAND"....and then the "next stop" on the train is "Clark St" (Court again, with "Clark St" signs)....gee, those IND cars must have had to really SQUEEZE to get into that "IRT" station....ahhhh, the magic of Tinseltown......8-) Responses
