Thank goodness the R-10s were very rarely intermixed with other car types. I would have had a stroke if I had seen a smorgasbord train with R-10s in it back in 1969-70.

Supposedly, the R-10s were kept segregated because their doors opened a tad later than on other SMEE cars in a mixed consist. I syand corrected in advance if I'm wrong.
