Padron on Sat Mar 6 16:41:51 2004, in response to Re: But Don't Expect R-10 #3184 [Re: Today's R1/9 trip], Well, judging by a photo circa 1969-70 seen on this website [image 5444 at 80th-Hudson Street, IND Fulton line], the R-10's that were in that "A" train consist were used at the end of the trainset, with the R-42's used in the middle. While the photo does show this unique occurrence in that road assignment as evidence, I never did able to witness this in person involving the R-10's before. (There are no responses to this message.)
