As best as I can remember from the early 60s, the Q, QT, RR and T ran on approx 5-6 min headways from Brooklyn in the AM rush hour (coming in going to High School, so we're talking about trains going through DeKalb between 7:45 and 8:00 AM. However, it always seemed to me that the trains coming in from Queens were less frequent and shorter (6 cars rather than 8). One thing I recall is that most of the trains which came in from Astoria in the AM rush were return trips which originated in Brooklyn, so there was probably more service from Astoria later in the rush hour. However, it probably was on the order of 20 tph.
