Hm... GET THAT TO WMATA! Drill it into their heads until they cave in. You've got some interesting ideas there, and rather friendly to both passengers and environment... and quite economic (have Brown take Centreville and Orange have Chantilly).
I'm guessing Franconia was to be at Franconia Road (hence the reason the area of the CSX/Amtrak ROW at Franconia Road/VA 644 is called "Franconia Station"), and Springfield Station in the area of VRE Manassas Line Backlick Road Station. You would need not rename Springfield Station. Keep the "Franconia" half of it; just say it's named for the parkway. (which it kinda is...)
So... any ideas for how this'd be run? End-to-end vs. Middle of the road short turns. I'm guessing Red would be pretty much the same, but what of the others? Bowie-Chantilly? Crofton-Ballston or Vienna? Waldorf-Laurel and Upper Marlboro-Greenbelt? U-Street-Anacostia? Fran-Spring/Largo with Pointer Ridge-Fairfax Station and P Ridge-Woodbridge runs? And Purple, Brown, and Pink... and Yellow... other turnbacks besides the end points?
And... you're keeping Yellow as a short-turn at Mt Vernon Sq?
Lastly... kudos for NOT overdosing on Island platforms (nothing against them, but they tend to get boring... and don't usually provide good highspots for photos
