Oh, I'm looking at my 1979 map, and now I see what you mean.
Yup, I have that too. Here it is:

Neither of my 1980 maps have that.
Oh, they also fold entirely differently
Yeah, one has the 5 and 6 on the cover, and the other has the E, B, and D on the cover. I didn't notice anything else really, but you had me going crazy over that Blecker St thing ont he Sept 30, 1990 Map, and I didn't even catch that.
