When I was a kid, the "LL" train was like another universe. My parents never rode it, my sister was once mugged on it and I only saw it briefly as it rose over the J approaching Eastern Parkway. It scared me. Of course, riding the J didn't, even though it was probably just as dangerous in the late 70's/early 80's. Responses
