Actually, the Manhattan-bound track is in an enclosed concrete structure that looks just like a subway, while the Brooklyn-bound track is out in the open on top. The right of way was too narrow for 2 side by side tracks - it's bounded on the one side by the NY & Atlantic Railway and on the other by a cemetery! It's also has interesting original tile mosaics as Wayne pointed out. BTW, that's me in the top row center wearing glasses, while Wayne and Peggy are just to the right. Responses
