(LONG POST), Listening to a fellow Subtalker's scanner on a southbound D train in the early stages of the incident, I concur that the people in 59th Street tower are nimrods, unless the chaos, confusion, profanity and indecision which were permeating their radio communications is normal for a major tower handling a similiar problem.
