Interesting little article - it sounds like things are coming to a head over in Red Hook. I liked Diamond's quote "This is like letting Penn Station be destroyed." Hmm... a bunch of junk PCC's (all of which have identical examples in better shape preserved elsewhere) and an orphan from Oslo? Given a choice, I'd take Penn Station. Has Branford looked into stripping some of Diamond's cars for parts? I guess the Newark PCC at Branford is complete, but when it comes to gathering spare parts I subscribe to the idea that the more you have the better. I think some of those Shaker cars at the Navy Yard are from the same ex-TCRT series.
