I knew the 22L-4R was used for both- I have been on 747's that have to hold traffic to take off from the longer of the two runways. My question originally is why they were listing different equipment for 22L and 4R when I always looked at that as one runway. I didn't know a lot of the equipment was directional, and I didn't know the runways had different designations (either 22L or 4R) depending on the direction of use. So that's what prompted my original question.
