Tell me about it! I used to love that color back in the 80's. 111th Street, Cypress Hills, and Lorimer Street were the only ones that had that color on the entire Broadway-Jamaica El, and it looked attractive, especially when every other station was different.
But now that every station has it, it's rather boring. Every station looks the same. I was on the Culver el the other day, and the same cookie cutter look. It's on every el now. I'm even sick of it on the el structure itself! They had some wild colors in the late 80's to paint the els (like purple, pink, cherry red, and bright orange), but at least everything was different!
