Steve Zabel died in 1989 after the young boy that he was fucking, knifed him to death. I know that I've just broken a few subtalk rules and I'm sorry, but its the truth. Those that hold out the candle to celebrate his life as one of the best subway photographers of all time fail to realize that he was also a first class piece of shit!
