I used to love the sounds of the compressors on the 10s.....a good, solid, sound from a good solid piece of machinery. The 10s had both the graceful look of a 1940s streamliner, and the hefty, no-nonsense "bulk" of a Panzer tank. Come graffiti, come deferred maintenance, the R10s kept on rolling. No wonder they lasted 40 years in service. Responses
