I used to look down the platform to see which train was aproaching: if I saw a train with headlights close together, I knew it was an E...IF I saw the familiar "wide-spaced" headlights and markers, I KNEW it was an R10. Then, for a brief time in the early 80s, I remember they switched the 10s over to the A (or the E, I can't remember which), but I know, I switched from the CC to ride the 10s while they were on the other line. But soon enough, they were back on the CC, and I rode them many times to work, and last rode them on the C in 1989; they really looked sharp in the green and silver scheme. Good, solid-riding cars with a good, solid look. Subway classics all the way. Responses
