At 207 on the A, KoolD was within inches of getting 'booted off'. We were asking the SA for access to the BR keys. The gate opened for someone to accept the key, and KoolD, at 4:30 AM, was about to walk through it, out of fare control. The riders held him back, and the group holds strong, making our last stop at 207 before heading down to 59 to cover the D and the Bronx IRTs.. Fatigue is playing a major factor. Even if we go into the late hours of Friday night, we are all determined to make it.
Our camera crew will also be calling in the replacements soon.
Good sleep for most of the riders on the A down to 59. Of course, the camera crew stayed up most of the time.
D to 205. We awoke at 59 to KoolD's calls of "This stop, this stop", followed by a frantic sprint "up and around", to catch the D uptown. The recent successes in the Bronx are in stark contrast to the slow progress we had overnight in Brooklyn. Things look good again, and the AM peak awaits on the horizon.
