Padron on Mon Jun 16 07:06:10 2003, in response to Broadway Junction on the IND: UPDATE, Well, I guess that this is just MTA NYC Transit's feeble way of just giving one name for this entire massive interdivisional transfer point complex area, and that name was inherited originally from the BMT Canarsie Line's overhead elevated station. If the idea of the name "JUNCTION" replacing "EAST NY" up on the tiles for the IND Fulton Street Line seems pretty ridiculous, do not forget that for the BMT Jamaica Line, all of the "Eastern Parkway" platforms signs have already been replaced with "Broadway Junction".
