At least WMATA is consistant during rush hour. MARTA runs 4 or 6 car trains on the N/S in an unpredictable fashion all day and night. Passengers spread out on the platform for six cars, so when a stupid four-car car shows up, the ends are too crowded compared with the middle cars. The people who run the N/S are a bunch of idiots. Six car trains are neeeded for rush hour, period. A packed four-car train is not acceptable when you have room for up to eight cars. At least with the E/W, you know that every Indian Creek-HE Holmes train will be 6 cars and every Bankhead train will be two cars. The N/S people need to take lessons from the E/W people.
