Of course, at the time, in the interest of keeping the peace, we all said nothing and didn't take any more photos until we left the station.

Yeah the "mean" lady (I love that) was just in a "power play" mode. We all sort of ignored her, and said absolutely nothing back. She said it a few times (even though no one was taking photos after she said it the first time). It's as if she was hoping for a fight.
