Your proposal on the B-23 is very interesting however i have one extenstion in mind.
Extend route from Beverly Road and Flatbush Avenue to the Nostrand Ave/Beverly Road Subway Station as follows:
via current route to Ocean Ave/Corteylou Road then via Corteylou Road,Flatbush Ave,Beverly Road,New York Avenue,Tilden Avenue,Nostrand Ave,Beverly Road and stand
Return via Beverly Road,Flatbush Ave,Corteylou Road and current route
The B-23 will then offer the following:
1-Transfers to and from the B-44 and B-49 routes
2-Connections to the Beverly Road #2 and 5 Subway Station
3-New traffic generators :Sears store at Bedford and Beverly and Holy Cross Cemetary BTW-Prior to 1959 the B-44 had a Shuttle along Tilden Ave from the Cemetary to Nostrand Ave
The B-67 extenstion to New Utrecht Ave while interesting will not generate much traffic due to make up of the area. Again the subway will be faster going downtown then the bus.
I like the idea of a bus going to the Cesears Bay Bazar but extending the B-23 just will not make it in my view
