Joe,
Did you attempt to acquire #5549? I remember seeing it too laying over in Flushing a few times. Maybe buses could have power-assisted steering. I've driven a few fishbowls and like car w/o power steering I like the feel when turning at speed, but it was a workout at low speeds.
