They used to have a surcharge until the last fare increase to $1.75 in April 2003. I am not sure about the 42, which runs to 233 Street Subway, but also serves 241 and 238 Street (where a transfer to the Bee-LINE 25 and 26 is available). (There are no responses to this message.)
