They weren't technically "standard", but R33 singles that the MOW dept. had recently moved to the Bronx. They were so new to MOW that they weren't modified to suit their purposes.

I'll long remember them pushing all the lights on Broadway & said that I'll bet they never be operated at that speed ever again for the rest of their lives :-(
