The Worth Street tunnel would have connected into the 8th Ave local south of Canal St, but north of the existing Chambers St. tunnel. Turnouts for this tunnel still exist. I'm assuming that the "WTC" terminal would have been abandoned and all trains routed via Worth St. to Brooklyn upon leaving Canal St.
