I got to run a PCC a couple of times in Newark on Saturdays with someone I knew out there. The towelbar was a hoot. Of course, at the time, I hadn't been spoiled by driving so it seemed pretty natural. Those buggers were PEPPY though. That's another reason why I'd like to take 1001 *forward* some time - I don't know how good I'd be at backing up all the way to the loop without priors.
