The Q10 to JFK via South Conduit goes south on Lefferts and makes a left hand turn onto South Conduit. At that point there is a short distance from the intersection to the airtrain station. If there is a bus stop at the intersection of Lefferts and South Conduit. On a good day the walk is likely not too bad. But I wouldn't recommend it for people lugging heavy, bulky luggage.
I'm sure someone will disagree with me. All I ask is they take the bus and walk to the airtrain station.
