Heh, sometimes they go all out to be real, and other times they make no effort. I never saw the movie you mentioned above, but that sounds like one of the "no effort" ones. Haha, LL to Coney Island, with a stop at Clark Street along the way....

As for Pelham 123, at least the made many efforts to be accurate. They did use acurate footage for many of the scenes, like the "runaway" train going through 23rd Street, etc (wow that was nice to see that station before the awful 1980's renovation). As for the accuracy of 28th Street, they still have to work with what they get. They can't portray 28th Street as a side platform station, if the TA can't give them one to work with. To their credit, if Pelham's "28th St" is either Court or H-S, they did put BMT/IRT style mosaics over the IND tiles. They could have went the cheap way and just replaced the IND Court or Hoyt monograms with 28's, and the green or blue IND color band would have been visable. The mosaics look very real though, and could fool someone if you didn't know that there are no trackwalls with 28's in a mosaic.
