FACTS about the Boats, As far as I know, THE TIDES has been gone for nearly a decade now. The last I saw her, was some years back, and she was heading UP the Hudson under her own power. I have no idea what became of this historic old ferry. As a kid, I rode her many times on the old 69th St. ferry, and then when she and THE NARROWS were on charter to the CNJ for the Liberty St ferry, running there until 1967.
