Never saw those ... but I heard there was a problem with the pendulum mechanism that controlled (?) the braking ... stopping an Arnine was no big deal as long as you weren't expecting it to handle like the SMEE's ... manual lapping was one of those gotchas. That was why I was amazed to see 1575 on the point here and there in photos. I'd been warned when I was on the road that the reason why they DIDN'T put it on the ends was because there were folks that would climb into what looked like an R-10 (how could you NOT notice the cab being a bit different?) and having an unpleasant surprise at their first stop. Only way I can IMAGINE that happening though would be a violation of the rolling brake test rule. But I digress.

But arnines can only REALLY be appreciated by running them. SUCH a pleasure. :)
