It was the Bx1 or Bx2 (can't remember which one) when they first came out in 1979. I was with a friend of my mother's when I spotted the bus on the Grand Concourse. She actually took her car and blocked the bus into the bus stop @ Burnside Ave and would not move until I got onto the bus. She let me ride the bus to Fordham Rd. Of course it wasn't long enough, but I had to settle for what I could get back then. LOL (There are no responses to this message.) Replying to posts on BusTalk are disabled at this time. |
